The death of retired staff Brian Weldon /
The death has occurred of our former colleague Brian Weldon. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. May he rest in peace.
House private on Monday. Reposing at his home on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday in the Church of The Nativity, Moynalvey at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, by request. Donations, if desired, to Meath Specialist Palliative Care Service, Kells, Co. Meath

I wish to thank all who attended my recent retirement function in particular those who travelled long distances. Thanks to Arthur Byrne for his kind words and for the presentations on behalf of the social club. Miriam and I enjoyed the night and it was a great pleasure to catch up with so many current and former colleagues. Thanks also to my colleagues in Kilkenny for the great ‘send-off’ they gave me. I had the great pleasure in working with many wonderful people across ESB over the years. I wish you and your families all the best for the future.
