Maura Walsh, RIP, retired, ESB Networks Carrick-on-Suir / Siobhan White
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of Maura Walsh, Carrick on Suir. The funeral arrangements are as follows:
Reposing at Walsh’s Funeral Home, Carrick-on-Suir on Thursday from 5.00pm with removal at 6.30pm to St. Nicholas’ Church. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10.30am with burial immediately afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery. Famiuly flowers only. Donations to Carrick-on-Suir Daycare Centre.

Noreen Keane, RIP, sister of Gaye Kavanagh, AP Waterford /
Death has occurred of Mrs. Noreen Keane (nee O’Brien), sister of Gaye Kavanagh, Accounts Payable, Gracedieu, Waterford Funeral Arrangements as follows:
Reposing at her home in Slieveru on Wednesday July 3rd from 4pm to 8pm and on Thursday morning July 4th prior to removal to St.Mary’s Church, Ballygunner
For Requiem Mass on arrival at 12.30pm. Followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. No flowers by request, donations if desired to Irish Heart Foundation.

Ian Whitehead, ESB/ESBI/GT/ EMP retires /
After 23 years of working for ESB and 45 working years in total Ian has decided to retire. Ian started his career working on the construction of Hinkley Point B nuclear power plant in 1974. He joined ESB in 1996 at Corby power station as a Shift Manager. He worked there until early 2007 and then moved to Rousch in Pakistan as a Project Engineer, followed a couple of months later as Plant Manager. He left Rousch at the end of 2012 and moved to the UK as GB Windfarm Manager, looking after Fullabrook, Betws and West Durham. In 2016, he moved to Malta as Plant Manager of Delimara 4 a new independent power station built by Siemens. In 2018, he moved to Tilbury Green Power as Contracts Manager. He has made a tremendous contribution to ESB in his many different roles and will be greatly missed both professionally and personally.
Ian would like to invite his colleagues and friends from over the years to join him and Cathy for a drink in The Hairy Lemon in Dublin from 6pm on Friday 12th July.
