Retirement of Bernie Lennon / Marion Glavin
After 40 years of exemplary service, our friend and colleague, Bernie Lennon will retire on Thursday, May 28th. Having begun her career in Service Repair, Bernie went on to work in various areas including Cost & Management, Revenue, Consumers and Accounts Collection. Since 2004 Bernie has been at the centre of the Bureau in Athlone, leading her team with her extensive knowledge and expertise.
Throughout her career Bernie has made a significant contribution to ESB and those of us who have worked with her, will appreciate her professionalism, tenacity and commitment to getting the job done.
Bernie will be sorely missed, not only for her professional expertise but also for her warm heartedness, great sense of humour and generosity of spirit.
Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions, we cannot celebrate Bernie’s retirement at the function she had planned, but hopefully we will have a get-together to mark the occasion at a later date.
We wish Bernie the very best of luck, good health and happiness in her retirement.
