Fundraising<\h3>
Cyril Loughlin on a mission – please help! / Cyril Loughlin
On Wednesday, 30th May, I will be undertaking some research to see if the route from Malin Head to Mizen Head really is downhill:-) Over 80 cycling colleagues from my GAA club will be cycling the 650k route with me, over a 5-day period. It’s in aid of 2 charitable organisations, most notably Breast Cancer Ireland. You can view more details at this link and if you can spare a fiver or more I will be pedalling all the more earnestly in your honour. Many thanks in advance for any and all contributions which will be most appreciated! Malin to Mizen Cycle Fundraiser-2018
P.S. if you donate anonymously can you please let me know separately as I’d really like to acknowledge and thank you!

After 38 years, Bob Preston has decided to retire from ESB and begin his new life after work. Bob would be delighted to invite his friends and past colleagues to celebrate his career in ESB on May 25th in The Laurel’s, Clondalkin, from 17:30 onwards. Those who would like to be associated with Bob’s presentation can contact: Eadaoin Smith, 26205, Telecom Services, Clanwilliam, Dublin
Karen McGeough, 27503, Telecom Services, Clanwilliam, Dublin Susan Morrissey, 27576, Telecom Services, Clanwilliam, Dublin Paul Friel, 54570, Telecom Services, Wilton, Cork
Please see a farewell note from Bob below.
My 35 years in Telecom Services started back in 1983 with the RDS Team, working my way through PLC, City Maintenance, Packet Switch Project, PABX, Voice Services, Ops Centre, OPTEL Project and back to RDS. The establishment and growth of the PMO has taken up the last of my 10 years here.
I have worked with a great many people over the years, lost several along the way and made some lifelong friends. It has been an epic journey.
I just want to say farewell and thank you for some wonderful times and so many happy memories.
My time in ESB will officially finish on Friday 25th May 2018, I am meeting some friends for a drink in the Laurels of Clondalkin and anybody who would like to drop in would be more than welcome. I wish you all well and hope the future is bright.
Signing off,
Bob
